About the book

Run Barefoot Run Healthy describes the “why and how” of barefoot running, providing a roadmap to healthy, pain-free running, backed by personal experience and lots of science.

The style is light and readable – half a conversation between a skeptical reader and the author, and half interviews of podiatrists and barefoot runners.

This is a book for all runners, and especially for those who believe that they can no longer run because their “back and knees hurt,” or they’re “too old,” or “maybe their body just wasn’t designed for running.” If you want to run, you can run: don’t settle for swimming or biking or watching reruns of Desperate Housewives.
